We are a small Colorado based paint company. My name is Joshua, I began my painting career in the middle of 2010 and just kept doing it. After years of learning under other skilled painters, I started my own company in 2016 and set out on the painting world. Many mistakes and lessons learned, I eventually developed my skills in painting to start specializing in the difficult, hard projects. The projects that really make me think about process and “how am I going to do this one?” are my absolute favorites.

Today, my wife, Kenzie, and I work hard together to provide the best premium paint experiences for our clients. She handles the back end of things and I handle to work and project management of the process. We work well as a team together.

And of course the question is always asked. “Why is it called ‘Big Dogs Painting’?”. We have two big dogs that we love and try to take everywhere with us. We have a 75lb Rhodesian Ridgeback mix dog named Niko. And of course the giant Newfoundland named Auggie. He is between 140lbs and 150lbs depending on what time of year it is. Auggie is the mascot of the company and why we chose “Big Dogs Painting” as our name.
